wheels fitted, radiator fitted, oil and filter changed

bit of a busy weekend but it's all done by the shouting. First off, the wheels are fitted with just the slightest of rubbing on the rear drivers side. That would be the lard ass in the seat causing that then lol. Pics as below

New radiator fitted, haven't got pics of it but its er black and broad. Fitted it mostly myself just needed the odd extra pair of hands to help move things into place.

Oil change and filter completed. No need to worry about it for another 5k miles

Even managed to run a power and audio cable into the engine bay in prep for the upcoming drive. Just need to get the power adaptors wired up into the car so it's more of a plug and play setup. Woo hoo

bumper cam is (almost) go -

indeedy it's very close to being installed. I have acquired the extended run for the cabling and even got one run fitted to the car. Shame it started raining and pretty much stopped play. Ho hum. Got a few more things to do and then it's actually trying the blighter to see if it works.

I have found the mic cable to be somewhat short, actually it's nowhere near long enough to fit into the boot so for now I'll just hide it behind the carpet in the cabin nearest the engine bulkhead. Hopefully it won't pick up too much crap from the car interior - ie me talking rubbish and playing music which others don't like. Pah - like I care lol.

New brake pads were collected from Toyota and a new windscreen fitted. Suffice to say I am skint now but thankfully getting a mate to fit the pads so a few tinnies of cider will ease his pain. Bargin for me really.

good news, great drive and bad news - PAH!

well my rear spoiler now has a lovely big scrape on it where someone reversed a van into it. I can't prove it but I know who and what did it. Guess I will have to buy that rev5 unit afterall!

Went to Ullapool last weekend for the drive. No other reason, just the drive. Drove up Loch Lomond side through Glen Coe, onwards to the Caledonian Canal and then by the lochs all the way to Inverness. Was an awesome drive but a bit too much traffic on the Loch side, it happens. However the drive from Inverness to Ullapool was sublime. Utterly awesome section of tarmac that is just built for the hoon.

Saturday night was spent at the Broomfield Camp Site, recommended I have to say. Many many beers were consumed in the pub and then Sunday was spent trying to get breaky from a local cafe. Wonderful when we got it.

Sunday morning drive was then up to Lochinver which is a fantastic road but the afternoon was spent doing the Gairloch loop back to Clunie Inn. Staggeringly beautiful road to drive along, bliss and even more so with the recent tarring it has received. Anyways, on with the pic of the weekend.

PS - the video camera was tried and although I got some amazing footage it still cut out quite a lot. It's on ebay as we speak. Time for a proper bullet cam and DVR setup methinks
