indeed folks the blue dolphin has a brand new MOT. Passed with flying colours except for a minor blip on the old emissions testing. It actually failed the CAT test but that's cool.
As the MR2 turbo was never offically imported into UK and my car is registered before 1 August 95 I get the non CAT emissions test for the MOT. Funnily enough me and the MOT tester went through the DOT car book and could not find an exact match between the chassis SW20 and the engine model 3S-GTE so hey presto a completely legal NON CAT test was done.
It passed, like a mini adventure but with a better car ; ¬ )
